Each base has 5 holes which you can use to attach it to anywhere on your bike. We recommend attaching these flags to the back, behind the seat, for every day use because of safety, but if you’re in a parade or something you could just as easily attach them to the front. We include heavy-duty ties to use in attaching your base, although we’ve seen some companies use screws, because we wouldn’t want to be drilling unnecessary holes in our bikes. If, however, you’d like a more permanent solution you can easily use metal screws of your own. Once the base is firmly attached to your bike, simply screw in your flag pole and you’re ready to go.
